When the news report published Chris Brown’s fight with Rihanna in Feb 2009, Brown was put in an extremely disadvantaged position in terms of his career and his fans’ perspective of him. Rihanna had bruises on her face and bite marks on her hands when police found her. Readers were disadvantaged as well, since they had at their disposal only the news reports of the incident, which biased readers immediately into assuming that Brown had inflicted these injuries on Rihanna by beating her up. According to Chris Brown’s best friend, this unfortunate incident was not the fault of Brown at all; in fact, he actually deserves heroic acclaim for saving Rihanna from a bug attack right in the front of his Lamborghini! It just so happen that the Lamborghini, rented that very day, released some mystical aroma that attracts bugs. The lender forgot to pepper spray the car and clear out the bugs. Chris and Rihanna, got into the car to go to the award ceremony when the bug attack occurred. The nasty little creatures climbed onto Rihanna’s causing her to panic and call 911. Seeing his love tortured by the bugs’ attack, Brown bravely volunteered to use his hands to killed bugs smothering his lovely Rihanna. Throughout the process, Chris Brown slapped Rihanna several times to ensure no bugs would escape. Toward the end, several other bugs climb onto Rihanna’s hand and bit her which caused her to become emotionally distraught as illustrated by her music video “Disturbia”. She fled the car and encountered police officers she had called. Without any explanation, Chris Brown was taken away and assumed to be an abuser, causing Rihanna’s wounds. Even though Chris Brown was innocent, the media have failed to report his true intentions and so the public has misunderstood Brown, which has caused great harm to his skyrocketing career. Chris Brown's Bravery as a hero to kill the villainous bugs truly touches my heart. If I had a boyfriend like Chris Brown, I would stay with him forever because I know he would only hit me in order to protect me. There are not a lot of gentlemen like him existing on this planet earth; sadly, they are becoming rare species. If only there were more real men like Chris Brown to watch over us.
